A two-night stay at an altitude of 1,700 meters, with fresh air and stunning views. Not all travelers can reach this area, as you’ll need to walk for 2-4 hours over two days. Furthermore, the swift currents of the Baliem River are a unique sight to behold from this height during your trek.

Important Information
- We will explore some places in the interior of the traditional village through the villager’s footpath. It may be muddy, puddles and crossing wooden bridges. Prepare yourself for all possibilities that may occur.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Wamena - Trekking To Kilise (-/L/D)
Meet us at Wamena airport, we will drop you to local restaurant for having lunch or lunch will be provided in lunchboxes. By minibus drop us to Yetni river is direction to Southern Baliem Valley. From here where the trekking begins with all the porters and cook to reach Kurima in approximately 1 hour. Begin climbing the Hesegem hill on the direction of Kilise. Along the trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet the scenery is very beautiful around. The tour goes on through Dani settlements with terraced fields and wild groves of sugar cane. All the time we have a wonderful view over the river. In the early afternoon we reach the church of Kilise village where we will stay overnight surrounded by beautiful landscape. Afternoon you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the people way of life. Lunch boxes is provided and dinner will be provided by a cook. Accommodaton at Local house or Guest House in the village using sleeping bags and mattresses. (Walk approx. 4-5 hours).
Day 02: Trekking To Syokosimo village (B/L/D)
Walk and down to baliem river for about 1 hour and crossing the suspension bridge on Baliem River.
After we successfully arrived at the other side of the river, then hike up to 3-4 hours through the beautiful country side.. You will encounter and greeted by the Dani people who work in their steep sweet potato garden. Lunch en route. Hike 30 minutes and will arrive in the village of Syokosimo,. Accommodaton at Local house or Guest House in the village using sleeping bags and mattresses. (Walk approx. 4-5 hours).
Notes and important information:
The suspension bridge is approximately 30 meters long and is damaged, we have to be extra careful when crossing it. Where you have to hold your breath for a few minutes to cross it. If it is not possible to cross the bridge then we have to change the route to another village as a substitute or direction to Syokosimo.
Day 03: Syokosimo – Wamena (B/L/-)
After breakfast, walk to the terminal. From here we will use a 4WD car to return to Wamena town for about 1,5 hour. Check in to your hotel or drop all our luggages if the room not ready. After lunch drive up to the north of baliem valley for approximately 25 minutes. In Sumpaima village we will see a very old mummy of the famous Dugum clan is proudly presented for your viewing. In the vicinity we will see more Dani People and their traditional houses. Everywhere the friendly natives offer their arts and crafts, weapons and curiosities for our inspection. Stop at Pasir Putih, Traditional local market. Late afternoon drive back to the Hotel, Dinner will be on your account. Accommodation in the hotel (Walk approx. 1 hour).
Day 04: Flight Return To Jayapura - Next Destination (B/-/-)
The flight early in the morning, Breakfast or without any breakfast, transfer at 06:00 am to airport for your flight to Jayapura at schedule at 07:00am. By direct flight for Sorong, Makasar, Jakarta or Denpasar.
