Breakfast, On the way to Kilise we can stop for a moment to straighten us out and enjoy the beauty of mountains or take pictures, we will walk on the footpath for 1-2 hours along the Mugi River while enjoying stunning views of the hills. Cross anothersuspension bridge.

After we successfully arrived at the other side of the river, then hike up to 1 hour to Kilise. You will encounter and greeted by the Dani people who work in their steep sweet potato garden.

In the evening we can visit local people to interact with them. Lunch in box is provided and dinner are prepared.  Accommodation at Local houses or Guest House in this village using sleeping bags and mattresses.  (Walk approx. 2-3 hours).

Notes and important information:

The suspension bridge is approximately 30 meters long and is damaged, we have to be extra careful when crossing it. Where you have to hold your breath for a few minutes to cross it. If it is not possible to cross the bridge then we have to change the route to another village as a substitute or direction to Kilise.

We are now in other side of baliem river, as the view from the village is very different from the view on the first and second days. Today’s journey is generally flat, we will walk through sweet potato fields and pass several houses of the Dani tribe until we reach Anjelma village. You will not miss the moment with the beautiful scenery when looking towards the Baliem River from a distance. In the afternoon we will invite you to visit the local people’s homes to learn about their way of life and culture. Accommodation at Local houses or Guest House in this village using sleeping bags and mattresses.  (Walk approx. 2-3 hours).

After breakfast continue walk to Yetni for 2 hour. Today we can work more leisurely than the previous day because the distance is shorter and the condition of trail is always down, later after reach a river,  we still need one hour more to reach lower-Yetni river where our car waiting for us. All trekking trips from the first day to today will depend greatly on weather condition and physically abilities of all the participants. From the car stops before the afternoon we will be taken to the city for 1 hour Journey directly to your accommodation. Dinner will be on your account. Stay in Baliem Pilamo Hotel.   (Walk approx. 2-3 hours).

In the morning we drive up to Jiwika. A special welcome will be given to you upon your arrival in the Village; the tribe member will assemble wearing their best outfit to show their appreciation. A special “Mock Battle” is one of the most interesting exhibitions you will see on traveling to Papua. Photographer has said that this unique event cannot be described by words alone.  We could spend 2-3 hours stay in the village while to learn their tradition & way of life of Dani people. Lunch boxes is prepared in the village.

Breakfast and transfer to the Airport for fly return to Jayapura, arrive in Jayapura proceed by car drive to foot Mt  Cyclop in 1,5-2 hours including many stops – The scenery during the trip and not boring you.  Lunch is served enroute or provided by local people in the villages (or by Box lunch). Late afternoon around 16:00 PM walking into the forest to explore the jungle flora and fauna in the foot of Mt Cyclop. Here we will visit the bird of paradise habitat, walking about 40 minutes from where we stay. Usually some types of endemic birds stay long and breeding here. depends on the weather when we visit. Dinner is served by Local people with local foods. Accommodation at simple guest house with fan.

Before breakfast around 5 o’clock in the morning hiking in different directions to see birds of paradise or other bird birds while exploring the rainforest. Return to the Accommodation and enjoy the breakfast provided. By car, we will return to the city and stop at Teletubis Hills which is located on the edge of Lake Sentani. From the parking lot you have to walk to reach the maximum height so that the Enchantment of Lake Sentani is more visible and amazing which is surrounded by hills. Here you can enjoy the beauty of Lake Sentani and its surroundings. 30 minutes drive to Kalkote Dock to have a local boat for excursion at Lake Sentani, we could do a lake tour 1-2hours in the this lake by seeing local people with their traditional life in Asey Village. Walk around and seeing the local people of Sentani tribe making & selling their arts, bark painting, neckless, and variety of handy craft. Lunch at Yougwa Local restaurant near lake Sentani. We will stop at the TVRI Transmitter. From this height the view of the city of Jayapura is very charming with the wind blowing you into the memories of the history of the second world war in the city of Jayapura when the Japanese army controlled the city of Jayapura, formerly called Hollandia as the provincial capital of Netherland New Guinea. At the end of tour visit Hamadi Market. Accommodation at Mercury Hotel. Dinner will be on your account.

Breakfast in the hotel, On time transfer to the airport for your flight to Sorong, Makasar, Jakarta or Denpasar.
