About This Tour
The people of Lake Sentani live in stilt houses on part of the lake’s outskirts. Using a motorized boat, we will visit one of the villages that have one in the middle of Lake Sentani to see various cultural painting crafts from the bark of the Kombow tree and some types of processed crafts from their own hands. - We will adjust the route of the tour according to the pick-up point, whether from Sentani Airport, Sentani City or pick-up at the Jayapura city centre.
- We cannot predict the weather in Jayapura City, when it is hot or rain, the tour that you have booked will still be carried out according to the schedule and we cannot change the time and day shifts according to the conditions
- The tour will start at 08-09:00am in the morning and end at 17:00pm in the afternoon at the previous pick up point.

Itinerary Lake Sentani & Jayapura City Tours
Good morning. We will pick you up according to your request. Meet you at Sentani airport, at your Hotel in Sentani area or in the City Centre. Make sure you have breakfast before starting the tour.
- Teletubis Hill; which is located on the edge of Lake Sentani towards the opposite city of Jayapura. From the parking lot you have to walk to reach the maximum height so that the Enchantment of Lake Sentani is more visible and amazing which is surrounded by hills. Here you can enjoy the beauty of Lake Sentani and its surroundings from a height of 250 meters above sea level. At this time you not only see the beauty of Lake Sentani only from photos but at the same time you can enjoy the strong winds and of course feel how beautiful God’s creation is.
- Lake Sentani; Direction to the city of Jayapura with the aim of Kalkote Port. From this small port we will use a traditional boat from the village to take us to one of the village on Lake Sentani. on certain days and hours we may be able to meet people in the village to interact and buy souvenirs typical of Lake Sentani in the form of bark crafts and small statues made by the people who live in the village. In this village we can also walk around and see the daily activities of the community.
- View Point; In the direction of Jayapura City, drive to Hamadi Beach which extends on the outskirts of Jayapura City with its black sand. Crossing the longest red bridge in Papua, we will also cross several restaurants and cafes. There are many opportunities for you to take pictures while enjoying the natural beauty around here towards the villages of Enggros and Tobati.
- TVRI Transmitter; From this height the view of the city of Jayapura is very charming with the wind blowing you into the memories of the history of the second world war in the city of Jayapura when the Japanese army controlled the city of Jayapura, formerly called Hollandia as the provincial capital of Netherland New Guinea. - Fish Market and Souvenir Market in Hamadi; This place is the Centre of the fish market in the city of Jayapura. You will see different kind of fishes and fishermen selling fresh fish. This place is very interesting to visit even though the air inside the fish market is not fresh. Souvenir Shops in Hamadi; In this place you can see many shops that sell handicrafts from various regions in Papua such as; Jayapura, Wamena, Asmat, Biak, Papua New Guinea and other areas. This market is a traditional market where all their handicrafts or works are still done in a traditional way.
- Jayapura City Centre; we will take you around the city for a while to get to know more about one of the famous city names in Papua as the largest and most beautiful capital city in Papua.
