Itinerary
Day 01: Jayapura City - Foot of Mt. Cyclop (-/L/D)
Meet you at Sentani airport or at your Hotel in Sentani area or in the City Centre of Jayapura. Make sure you have breakfast before starting the tour. With a car drive to foot Mt Cyclop in 2 hours. A nice scenery on the way will not boring you. Check In to Guest House which is on the outskirts of the forest in Nimbo District. Lunch will be prepared by the community or we have prepared it in a box from the city. In the afternoon around 16:00 pm walking into the forest to explore the jungle flora and fauna in the foot of Mt Cyclop. Here we will visit the bird of paradise habitat, walking about 1 hour from guest house. Usually some types of endemic birds stay long and breeding here. Depends on the weather when we visit. Dinner is served by Local people and accommodation at simple guest house (Facilities: Very simple by using a fan, the bed is made of wood on a sponge mattress).
Day 02: Foot of Mt. Cyclop - Jayapura Town (B/L/-)
Around 5 o’clock in the morning hiking in different directions to see birds of paradise or other birds while exploring the rainforest. Return to the Accommodation and enjoy the breakfast provided. By car, we will return to the city for approximately 2 hours. On the way to the city we will stop at Teletubis hills which is located on the edge of Lake Sentani. From the parking lot you have to walk to reach the maximum height so that the Enchantment of Lake Sentani is more visible and amazing which is surrounded by hills. From here continue by car to Kalkote dock Dock to have a local boat for excursion at Lake Sentani, we could do a lake tour 1-2 hours in this lake by seeing local people with their traditional life. Walk around and seeing the local people of Sentani tribe with their arts craft, bark painting and variety of handy craft. Lunch is served at local restaurant near Lake of Sentani. On the way to the town of Jayapura then we will stop at the TVRI Transmitter. From this height the view of the city of Jayapura is very charming with the wind blowing you into the memories of the history of the second world war in the city of Jayapura when the Japanese army controlled the city of Jayapura, formerly called Hollandia as the provincial capital of Netherland New Guinea.
Fish Market and Souvenir Market in Hamadi; This place is the Centre of the fish market in the city of Jayapura. You will see different kind of fishes and fishermen selling fresh fish. This place is very interesting to visit even though the air inside the fish market is not fresh. Souvenir Shops in Hamadi; In this place you can see many shops that sell handicrafts from various regions in Papua such as; Jayapura, Wamena, Asmat, Biak, Papua New Guinea and other areas. This market is a traditional market where all their handicrafts or works are still done in a traditional way. Dinner will be on your account. Overnight stay at Medium Accommodation in the town.

Breakfast at hotel, on time transfer by car to the Airport of Sentani for the Next flight.
